Alleged Murderer to Represent Himself in High Court
It was alleged that he assaulted Duidomo with an iron rod outside a motel in Suva causing serious injuries which led to his death.

Ledua Vakaloloma, 24, who was charged for the murder of a 24-year-old man in 2022, has opted to represent himself.
Vakaloloma appeared before Magistrate Krishan Prasad before the Suva Magistrate’s Court yesterday with one count of murder.
The court heard that on April 2, 2022, Vakaloloma allegedly murdered Lemeki Duidomo.

Full disclosures were served to him including the CCTV footage.
Magistrate Prasad explained to Vakaloloma about the alibi notice should he choose to challenge the charges laid against him.
The court heard that because this was an indictable offence, the matter was going to be referred to the High Court in Suva for first call.
The matter was then adjourned to May 20 for his first call.
