Amphitheater To Recall 'Bilibili Race'

Advisory Council Nadroga Navosa deputy chairman Arvin Mestry believes the setting-up of the amphitheater in Sigatoka Town will bring many positive changes to the 'Stallion Town'.
This includes the re-introduction of the annual 'Bilibili Race' that was once a popular event among resort and hotel workers.
Mr Mestry said kudos to those involved as the project was long overdue from a few years ago.

"I look forward to experiencing what the new amphitheater will offer; this putting milestone project will only be a hangout place but will be a landmark for Sigatoka Town," he said.
The Nadroga Navosa Chamber of Commerce and Industry (NNCCI) president Suresh Naidu said he was thrilled to share his excitement about the project.
He said it was a significant addition to their community; he believes it would provide a fantastic experience for the local community and visitors.
"The location of the amphitheater by the riverbank is perfect, and it will offer a unique and beautiful setting for concerts, performances, and other events," he said.
"It is a great opportunity for the community to come together and enjoy the beautiful surroundings while experiencing great entertainment.
"It will help attract more tourists to the area and boost the local economy.
Additionally, it will provide residents with a new and exciting way to spend their evenings and weekends by the riverside."
