Anare Moi Of Navua On Assault Charge Granted Bail
Anare Moi, is charged with one count of assault for allegedly punching a man at his worksite after he found out that the complainant was smoking suki (tobacco) during working hours.

A 24-year-old man, who was allegedly captured in a video for assaulting another man, appeared at the Navua Magistrates’ Court before Magistrate Chaitanya Lakshman yesterday.
Anare Moi, is charged with one count of assault for allegedly punching a man at his worksite after he found out that the complainant was smoking suki (tobacco) during working hours.
A video of the alleged assault had gone viral on social media last week.

The accused was represented by lawyer Filimone Vosarogo.
Police Prosecutors, Inspector Vimlesh Reddy did not object to bail.
The accused was granted bail at cost of $500 bail bond and one surety.
He was strictly ordered not to offend while on bail and not to interfere with witnesses.
The case has been adjourned to June 24, 2021 for mention at the Navua Magistrates court.
