Anaseini Senimoli appointed Acting Deputy Supervisor of Elections

The Fijian Elections Office (FEO) has appointed Ms Anaseini Senimoli as the Acting Deputy Supervisor of Elections, effective Friday, 14 November 2025.

Ms Senimoli, who currently serves as FEO’s Director of Operations, has spent the past ten years overseeing critical electoral operations, including the 2018 and 2022 General Elections.

Her appointment underscores FEO’s commitment to strengthening leadership and ensuring operational excellence ahead of upcoming elections.

“Ms Senimoli’s extensive operational experience and deep understanding of Fiji’s electoral processes make her well-suited to take on this important role. I have full confidence in her ability to support the FEO’s strategic direction and ongoing preparations for future elections,” said Supervisor of Elections, Ms Ana Mataiciwa.

Ms Mataiciwa emphasized that the appointment is a key step in maintaining leadership continuity within FEO.

“The appointment of the Acting Deputy Supervisor of Elections is a vital step as we prepare for the upcoming elections. This role will ensure continuity of leadership within the FEO, strengthen our operational capacity, and support our team in delivering a transparent, efficient, and credible electoral process. We are confident that with this appointment, the FEO will continue to uphold the highest standards of professionalism and integrity in serving the people of Fiji,” she said.

Ms Senimoli, who has served under five Acting Deputy Supervisors of Elections, hails from Drue, Sanima, Kadavu, with maternal ties to Votua, Lekutu, Bua.

The FEO congratulated her and expressed confidence in her leadership as the organisation works to enhance electoral services, strengthen stakeholder engagement, and prepare Fiji for upcoming elections.
