Any Bill That Affects The Itaukei Will Go Through Consultations

The Minister for iTaukei Affairs, Culture, Heritage and Arts, Ifereimi Vasu has as­sured the people of Fiji that every Bill that will affect the iTaukei people will go through consultations.

The Minister for iTaukei Affairs, Culture, Heritage and Arts, Ifereimi Vasu has as­sured the people of Fiji that every Bill that will affect the iTaukei people will go through consultations.

Mr Vasu said his ministry would have to follow a process for the amendment of Bill 17.

“The most important thing for us is the consultation,” Mr Vasu said.

“If everybody is happy, then we should archive something.”
