Qoliqoli (fishing ground) owners to some of the world-rated surfing sites in Fiji have welcomed revelation that the Fijian Government’s surfing decree would soon come under the parliamentary gavel.

Qoliqoli (fishing ground) owners to some of the world-rated surfing sites in Fiji have welcomed revelation that the Fijian Government’s surfing decree would soon come under the parliamentary gavel.
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Tourism Viliame Gavoka, last weekend, revealed plans to amend the decree.
The announcement has brought joy to qoliqoli owners like the people and traditional owners of Tavarua Island.
