Applause For New Dining Hall
Students of a rural school can now eat in comfort since they have a new dining hall. The development is a milestone after an eight-year community-driven initiative to improve the community-based Udu District School, at Vunikodi, Vanua Levu.

Students of a rural school can now eat in comfort since they have a new dining hall.
The development is a milestone after an eight-year community-driven initiative to improve the community-based Udu District School, at Vunikodi, Vanua Levu.
The dining hall was commissioned by Assistant Minister in the Office of the Prime Minister, Sakiusa Tubuna.
Related stories
The school serves the villages of Nabouono, Nukudamu, and Nukusa. Progress has eluded the school for close to a decade.
For internet connection, as an example, the school’s head teacher was compelled to travel to Labasa to collect updates on the Fiji Education Management Information System.
