Archbishop Peter Loy Chong has called on the Fijians to reflect and pray for the grace of God to free themselves from areas of their lives that is still bonded to worldly desires.
Archbishop Chong celebrated the Holy Thursday mass at the Cathedral Sacred Heart in Suva, where many gathered to remember and relive one of Jesus act to wash the feet of His disciples before His suffering on the cross.
In his homily, Archbishop Chong reminded the congregation that just like Moses, who freed the Israelites from slavery in Egypt, and Jesus, who died on the cross to save all humans, people must free themselves from areas such as political slavery, and economic slavery.
