Ashabhai And Co Pte Ltd Organised Booster Shot Drive

Ashabhai & Co Pte Ltd employees and families were able to get beat the line to get COVID-19 vaccination booster shots.

This is because the company arranged for a vaccination camp to administer booster jabs for families and employees in Vatuwaqa, Suva, yesterday.

Sneh Lata, whose husband works for Ashabhai & Co Pte Ltd, praised the company for arranging the vaccination camp.

Ms Lata said it was much easier now for them to get their booster shots in Vatuwaqa.

“When my husband informed me about the booster shot being administered at their workplace, I was happy because I would not need to wait for a long time in order to get the shot,” Ms Lata said.

“This is a good call done by my husband’s employer because instead of crowding up at Albert Park, we can come here since it is within our bubble.”

Ashabhai & Co Pte Ltd Human Resources Manager Jatin Shah said it was good to see families of their employees turn up in large numbers to get their booster shot.

“The idea is for our employees and their families to get their booster shots in a safe environment,” Mr Shah said.

“We got to know that there is a long queue of people at Albert Park and that is good news because people want to get their booster shot, but we want to give safety to our employees.

“We saw the sudden surge in the COVID-cases in Fiji and that is why with the help of the Ministry of Health and Medical Services, we were able to organise this.

“We have 160 employees who were eligible to get their booster shots and when we completed the drive at 1.30pm we had a total of 220 people that had their booster shot done here.

Ashabhai & Co Pte Ltd employ more than 460 employees in Fiji.
