Who is Lenora Qereqeretabua to tell me to shut up?
This is the response of Human Rights and Anti-discrimination director, Ashwin Raj, to Ms Qereqeretabua after she wrote ‘SHUT UP’ on her official Twitter account about statements by him on Fijian politics.
Ms Qereqeretabua is a candidate of the National Federation Party (NFP), contesting the 2022 General Election that will take place on December 14.

She is also the vice president of the NFP.
Mr Raj said in an interview with the Fijian Broadcasting Corporation (FBC) that some women continued to follow a patriarchal system in Fiji.
