Aspiring Teacher Joins Race For Festival Title

Nandita Sami has her sights on becoming a teacher, but first up will be her bid to capture the Miss Vodafone Festival of the Friendly North title.

The 21-year-old lass of Siberia, La­basa who is the Shree Sanatan Dharam Prathinidhi Sabha Fiji youth wing secre­tary Nandani is sponsored by Fiji Sugar Corporation.

Recently the eldest of three siblings was recognised by the organisation she serves for contributing to the launch of a book titled Fiji Hindi Sahitya.

Aspiring to become a Hindi and English teacher, Miss Sami has been an orator for over ten years competing both at na­tional and international level.
