Australian High Commissioner Presented Order Of Fiji Medal

President Ratu Wiliame Katonivere has be­stowed the Honorary Officer of the Order of Fiji Medal to High Commission­er of Australia to Fiji, John Feakes.

President Ratu Wiliame Katonivere has be­stowed the Honorary Officer of the Order of Fiji Medal to High Commission­er of Australia to Fiji, John Feakes.

This was done during a spe­cial investiture ceremony at the State House on Friday.

President Katonivere, while acknowledging High Com­missioner John Feakes, said he had outdone himself with great achievements during his tenure which began in 2017.

“I would like to personally thank and acknowledge High Commissioner Feakes for his tenacity and perseverance that have contributed so much to Fiji and Australia’s develop­ment and prosperity.”

The Vuvale Partnership was signed between Fiji and Aus­tralia during the tenure of High Commissioner Feakes.

High Commissioner Feakes received the Honorary Officer of the Order of Fiji, which is bestowed upon those who have rendered distinguished service of a high degree to Fiji and humanity at large.
