Australia appreciates Fiji’s commitment as chair of the Pacific Islands Forum to restore and strengthen the forum’s unity.
Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese made these remarks while congratulating Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka on his election victory.
He said the two countries shared an interest in a stable, secured and prosperous region and the work of the forum was more important than ever.
