Bail Ruling For Ajay Kumar Set For Today
It is alleged that Ajay Kumar murdered Saleshni Devi, who died in an incident on September 15, 2021, after the vehicle she was in went down a cliff in Teidamu, Lautoka.

The bail ruling for murder charged Ajay Kumar will be called at the High Court in Lautoka today.
This was decided by Justice Riyaz Hamza who presided over the matter on Wednesday.
It is alleged that Ajay Kumar murdered Saleshni Devi, who died in an incident on September 15, 2021, after the vehicle she was in went down a cliff in Teidamu, Lautoka.

Kumar was represented by Iqbal Khan of Iqbal Khan and Associates while the state was represented by Prenika Lata.
Mr Khan told the court that Kumar was not taken to a clinic despite an order from a doctor at the Lautoka Hospital.
Ms Lata told the court that she would inquire with the remand centre and would look into why Kumar was not taken to the clinic.
Justice Hamza adjourned the matter to today for Kumar’s bail ruling and he was further remanded.
