The Fiji Head Teachers Association has been challenged to come up with practical interventions, to help children and transform education in Fiji.
Minister for Education Aseri Radrodro made the remarks yesterday during the opening of the 41st Fiji Head Teachers Association Conference at the Sheraton Fiji Golf and Beach Resort, Denarau.
Mr Radrodro said they should establish an environment to allow a child’s mind to be awakened with inspiration and innovative ideas and become solution-based leaders of tomorrow.

The Heads of Schools (HOS) were urged not to limit themselves to teaching and leading only in the classroom or within the school, but to go out, monitor, assist and help children with their parents.
“Be a transformative leader. Government has invested in you to be leaders of your respective schools and we should create an educational landscape where every student can thrive, every teacher can excel, and every community can flourish,” Mr Radrodro said.
