Breast cancer is not just a statistic, but behind every statistics there is a story of reality that impacts families, friends and communities, says former tertiary lecturer Akosita Toga.
Ms Toga was speaking at the Then India Sanmarga Ikya (TISI) Sangam College of Nursing and Health Care Education on Friday as part of the institution’s Picktober and Diwali celebration.
She insists that no one fights breast cancer alone while encouraging nursing students and staff to share the kind of breast health care services provided in Fiji.
