Many doubted Neha Nikita Lal and Bhawna Narayan. But hard works and the power of pray allowed two best friends to open a Day Care Centre in Lautoka.
For Ms Lal, 31, and Ms Narayan, 38, opening the centre was never about making money but to live the dream they talked about two years ago when their friendship started.
Ms Lal is a holiday consultant at the Wyndham Resort at Denarau Island, Nadi, while Ms Narayan is an accountant with Ba Provincial Holdings.

Ms Narayan, who is a mother of one son, Aanav Prasad, 3, was keen to be in the business of seeing that children were given the quality time they deserved while parents were at work.
Together, with the similar vision of helping working parents and communities, the directors – Ms Narayan and Ms Lal – opened Kids Life Care at Lot 2, Razak Rd, in Lautoka, yesterday.
“This is definitely an exciting venture for us,” Ms Narayan said.

The teacher-in-charge of the centre is Sainiana Tinai, 40, who has at least four years’ experience in her line of work, and is assisted by two other teachers. Extra teachers will be available next week.
The centre can cater for about 30 children, aged between six months and five years. The centre has a bedroom with multiple beds, a library, an indoor and outdoor play centre, an eating and learning area. There are nine children registered at the centre.
The centre opens Monday to Saturday from 7am to 7pm, with the different charges in place depend- ing on the hours each child will be in the centre for. The charges range between $15 and $90.
“We do half a day schedules, hourly basis, 7am to 7pm as we want to be flexible and convenient to each individual,” Ms Lal said.
“For everyone’s safety, I have cameras in all the rooms although we are working outside we are monitoring whatever is happening here.”
Children who are registered will need to bring their own meals.
