In addition to hosting medical clinics and village projects the Savusavu Community Foundation (SCF) sponsors free eye screening and surgery outreach clinics.
SCF once again partnered with Pacific Eye Institute/Fred Hollows Foundation (PEI) for the Savusavu area last month.
As a first step, PEI’s country manager, Kirti Prasad traveled to Vanua Levu to scope the need and areas for the eye outreach programme and develop the action plan with SCF chairperson Ken Barasch.
