Speaking to this masthead yesterday, Mr Khan’s wife Sazia Nisha said her husband has been missing since Wednesday last week.
“My husband saw an advertisement about a car being sold here in Suva so he came down last week Wednesday to collect the car,” Ms Nisha said.
“He had used his father’s phone to make arrangements. Before he came, on Tuesday, someone had called to ask him when he was coming down to pick the vehicle.
“On Wednesday he came down. I called him and he said he was going to pick the vehicle from a service station in Nausori.
“He told me that the vehicle he had wanted to buy was not the one that the dealers brought to him so he was demanding for the vehicle he had wanted to purchase.”
She said that was their last conversation last Wednesday.
My father in law has seen the body but said it was not him. He said they could not even identify the body because of its condition. We have demanded a DNA test but the health officials said it would be back in six weeks or so. So I really don’t know if it was really him or no. His vehicle is still missing and so is he. I really don’t know who to trust now.
