Body recovered in Ba River search

A joint search by Police and members of the public led to the recovery of the victim’s body near Wavuwavu earlier today.

The body of a man who went missing while diving for freshwater mussels in the Ba River on March 4, 2026 has been recovered.

A joint search by Police and members of the public led to the recovery of the victim’s body near Wavuwavu earlier today.

The body has been taken to the Lautoka Aspen Hospital mortuary and is awaiting a post-mortem examination.
