A family from Labasa have been blessed with a new gift of life from the Sri Sathya Sai Sanjeevani Children’s Heart Hospital in Nasese.

On January 29, five-year-old Anant Kumar was on the operating table getting a hole in his heart operated on by surgeons from Mumbai, India.

His mother, Talei Vulase, reminisced moments where she was crying and hoped that the surgery would be a success.

“I did not know what to do. I was so worried,” she said.

On Friday, only three days after his surgery, Anant was discharged from the hospital.
