Police are investigating a break-in at the official residence of the Com­missioner of the Fiji Correc­tions Service (FCS) in Nasese.

Police spokesperson Ana Naisoro confirmed the inci­dent occurred on September 29, despite the property being heavily fenced and guarded by FCS personnel. Ms Nai­soro said no arrests have been made so far.

Speaking to this publication yesterday, FCS Commission­er Jalesi Nakarawa revealed a room was ransacked, and traditional artefacts (whale's tooth or tabua), were stolen.

Mr Nakarawa added no one was harmed during the inci­dent.
