Britain, Fiji Team Up In Hospital Plight

Minister for Health and Medical Services Dr Atonio Lalabalavu is calling for wholesale support towards moves to give the Colonial War Memorial Hospital (WMH) in Suva a facelift.
The hospital, opened in 1923 in memory of the Fiji veterans who served in World War I, is in dire need of infrastructural repairs.
Dr Atonio made the plea while acknowledging British High Commissioner, Dr Brian Jones who hosted a fundraising event for CWMH at his residence in Suva on Thursday evening.
