It was a painful moment for Rakshay Rogers Ali when he saw his younger brother’s hand sticking out in the deep water asking for help.

The 16-year-old Raihan Raizal Ali is alleged to be the country’s latest drowning victim.

Police Spokesperson Ana Naisoro said the victim was swimming with his family near Sun City Beach at Uciwai in Nadi on Tuesday afternoon when he was allegedly swept away by a strong current.
