Bullies Will be Dealt With

The Minister for Education, Aseri Radrodro is condemning any act of bullying in schools, whether it is a boarding school or otherwise.

Mr Radrodro said that little has been done to address bullying in schools.

“We will not be lenient on bullies this time,” Mr Radrodro said.

“If you’re continuously bullying, stop it; we will not be so lenient in addressing this,” he said.

He acknowledged that bullying had been taking place for many years in boarding schools without much being to address it.

Mr Radrodro stressed that schools must adhere to existing policies, particularly when it comes to bullying.

He said, “There is no place for bullying in schools,” and urged senior students to refrain from bullying younger students in boarding schools.

“There is no place for bullying in schools; as an adviser to senior students bullying the younger ones, you need to refrain from bullying the juniors in these boarding schools.”
