Bus Driver To Be Questioned For Bumping An Elderly Man In Cakaudrove

A bus driver will be questioned soon by Police for allegedly bumping a 52-year-old man at Navaqiqi in Cakaudrove, Vanua Levu.

Police spokesperson Ana Naisoro said the alleged incident took place on Friday along Buca Bay Road.

“The victim, from Navaqiqi, was walking back to his home from Savusavu Town when he was allegedly bumped by the bus,” Ms Naisoro said.

“The victim was rushed to Savusavu Hospital where he is in stable condition.”
