Bus Services Not Operational Due To Flooding, Roads Flooded Due To Heavy Rain

Bus services in parts of Nadi are currently not operational due to to flooding.

Persistent rainfall has caused flooding in some areas in the Western division.

The bus services that are currently not operational are:

-Westbus (Nadi) Service from Sabalau to Nadi Town;

-and Dominion Transport services to Nawaicoba, Rada and Loqi to Nadi Town

Please also take note of the following roads that are closed in the Western Division due to flooding:

-Mate Road

-Nadele Crossing before Korobebe Village

-Crossing on Vatawai Road

-Naruku Vatusui Road

-1st Crossing on Toge Road

-2nd Crossing on Marinitawa Road

-3rd Crossing on Vutuni Road only accessible to 4WD

Lautoka

-1st Crossing on Buabua Road

-1st Vakabuli Paipai Crossing

-Bandarama Crossing

Rakiraki

-Waimari Flats on Waimari Road

-Vatukacevaceva 2nd Crossing on Vatukacevaceva

-Narara 2nd Crossing on Narara Road

-Narara 1st Crossing on Narara Road

-Katudrau Crossing on Katudrau Road

-Waimari 1st Crossing on Waimari Road

The Fiji Roads Authority has advised the public to not cross flooded roads as flood waters may be deeper than they appear.
