Terminal 2 of the Suva Bustand will be temporarily closed for five days.

Buses that normally operate from Terminal 2 at the Suva Bustand will be redirected to the MPI Carpark.

This is because of a temporary closure that will be in place from tomorrow, to allow for urgent drainage upgrade works to be carried out by the Fiji Roads Authority

Suva City Council Acting Chief Executive Officer, Tevita Boseiwaqa urges commuters to allow extra time for travel as the temporary closure will be in place.

"These works are necessary to improve the reliability of drainage services in the capital and will require restricted access in and around Terminal 2 for safety reasons.

"SCC personnel, will be on-site to guide passengers and ensure smooth movement throughout the works."

The temporary closure period is from November 21 until November 25.

"We thank the travelling public, bus operators, and vendors for their patience and cooperation as we work to ensure a safer and more efficient bus station for everyone," Mr Boseiwaqa said.
