An entrepreneur, Sabhya Singh, took time out of her busy schedule to equip herself with the essential skill of proper caregiving and first-aid knowledge.
Behind her decision to learn this skill was the desire to better manage elderly family members, whom she cared for.
“My father-in-law’s sickly and his need for constant attention kept me focused,” she said.

Ms Singh, 39, recently graduated with a basic caregivers and first-aid training certificate from the Caregiving School of Excellence at the Salvation Army in Labasa.
