Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka says cabinet will have to re-look at the budget proposals of $1million for Ratu Sukuna Day and Girimit Day celebrations this year.

Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka says cabinet will have to re-look at the budget proposals of $1million for Ratu Sukuna Day and Girimit Day celebrations this year.
This follows concerns by members of the public on the proposed amount of spending the government had discussed about the two celebrations.
Minister for Finance, Biman Prasad in parliament last week revealed that $500,000 was allocated for the Girmit Day Celebrations that includes a two-day conference and another $500,000 has been allocated for Ratu Sukuna Day celebrations.
