Acting Commissioner of Police Rusiate Tudravu has called for obedience, love, and peace during the current COVID-19 pandemic.
He stressed this during the Mai TV Miracles programme that was live streamed on Facebook yesterday.The Police chief said the impact of COVID-19 was being witnessed firsthand by members of the public with the influx of families lining up to collect the bodies of their deceased loved ones for burial.
On this note, obedience was important for people to observe strict COVID-19 protocols.

The virtual discussion included the New Methodist Christian Fellowship Senior Pastor Atunaisa Vulaono, Senior Pastor Akuila Driso, Reverend Ledua Tamani, and Pastor Jovesa Naqarase.
“The only thing the Government and Ministry of Health have been enforcing is for people to obey the law. For Christians, one thing that should be in our lives is obedience,” he said.

He also raised his concerns about those who were being vocal on social media about the Bill No. 17 – a proposed amendment to the iTaukei Land Trust Act 1940.
