Car Flies Into Family Yard
The car was heading out of Samabula and towards Nabua. It went off the road, flew down a slope, missed the home of Rajesh Kumar.

Rajesh Kumar outside his home in samabula. His Saturday afternoon was full of surprises as car veered off the road and into his compound.
A woman is alive and a family still have their home intact after a car veered off Ratu Mara Road in Samabula and landed next to a home yesterday.
The car was heading out of Samabula and towards Nabua. It went off the road, flew down a slope, missed the home of Rajesh Kumar.
The 28-year-old woman driver was taken to hospital.

Mr Kumar’s wife Roselyn Lata was in the kitchen that overlooks the backyard. She said she saw the car land in front of her.
“It was around 1.25pm and I was washing dishes, when all of a sudden a car crashed from the top. It made a loud sound,” she said.
“I was shocked and started shouting.”
Mr Kumar said the car landed on his chicken and duck pen. He said he had three ducks and two roosters which were crushed by the car.
He said he ran to the car and saw that there was just the driver in the car.
“I tried opening the car but the door was jammed. Soon after the police came and they took the woman out of the car,” he said.
“She was injured and in shock.”
According to family members of the woman driver, she had just dropped her parents at home in Samabula and went to do more Diwali shopping. They said she told them that another vehicle had hit the car from behind causing her to lose control.
Police were quick to the scene and investigations continued.
