Caretakers Watch As Fire Destroys Shop

A midday blaze ravaged a mi­cro-investment shop located at Tiri Road in Nadawa on friday, reducing it to ruins.

The shop’s caretakers, Imtaz Ali and Sofia Gaznabi were left grap­pling with the heartbreaking after­math.

They felt blessed and fortunate their lives were spared, “but the busi­ness has been completely ruined”.

While the precise cause of the fire remains under investigation, Ali and Gaznabi claimed it ignited at the back of the shop.
