Cold Cases: Unsolved Murders Since 2009
Police were still requesting people to assist them in solving the cases by coming forward with whatever little information they may have.

A few murder cases in the country have remained unsolved in recent years.
While Police have been asking for information from the public now and then on the cases, there has not been any arrest yet in connection with the murders.
The unsolved cases in the past 10 years date back to 2009 when Prabha Wati, who was in her 50s, was allegedly strangled and burned.

A security officer on duty in Toorak, Suva, saw something burning and when he went closer to check, he saw the deceased.
In 2014, a 12-year-old Asian girl was found dead in her house in Samabula, Suva.
Her parents were not at home.
In January 2015, the chief executive officer of Lees Trading Company Limited, Holland Seeto, was found dead in his office at Laucala Beach in Suva.
Police spokesperson, Ana Naisoro said yesterday that these cases were yet to be solved. Ms Naisoro said Police were still requesting people to assist them in solving the cases by coming forward with whatever little information they may have.
The other cases that are yet to be solved by police are the murders of Salesh Chand in Lautoka in June 2016 and of a Russian couple, Yuri and Natalia Shipulin, whose body parts were found at Natadola Beach in July 2016.
Police had said recently that the files on the 2016 cases were still open and investigations continuing.
