Cash To Replace The Food Voucher
Minister for Women, Children and Poverty Alleviation Lynda Tabuya said no recipients were able to redeem their food vouchers at other supermarkets which caused a lot of inconvenience.

The $50 food voucher given to recipients of social welfare every month can only be redeemed at a MaxValue Supermarket, but this will change soon.
More than 20,000 recipients of the poverty benefit scheme and the care and protection scheme receive a food voucher of $50 from the ministry every month.
Minister for Women, Children and Poverty Alleviation Lynda Tabuya said no recipients were able to redeem their food vouchers at other supermarkets which caused a lot of inconvenience.
