Chand Scoops Four Gold Medals At UniFiji Graduation

Arishma Chand made the decision to drop out of her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery programme after three years to pursue a Bachelor of Science majoring in Maths and Physics.

Although the decision initially seemed extreme, she did not regret it after graduat­ing with four gold medals for her outstand­ing performance in the School of Science and Technology, Mathematics, Physics, and the Vice Chancellor's Award for Overall Excellence.

Ms Chand was one of the 316 University of Fiji graduates who received their certificates at the Saweni campus in Lautoka.
