Chandayaan-3 Spacecraft Lands On The Moon
The Indian High Commission in Fiji joined Indian nationals all over the world in the spirit of celebration as the country’s spaceship made a successful landing on the moon.

The Indian High Commission in Fiji joined Indian nationals all over the world in the spirit of celebration as the country’s spaceship made a successful landing on the moon.
Chandrayaan-3 successfully touched down near the lunar south pole, landing India in an exclusive club with just three other nations who have achieved the feat - the United States of America, China and the former USSR.
It’s thought the south pole’s shadowed craters contain water ice that could support a future base on the moon, allowing astronauts and scientists to work there for extended periods.
