Charitable Trusts Seek Clarification

Several of the 705 charitable trusts deregistered by the Registrar of Titles have sought clarification for their inclusion in the list.
One such organisation, Aspire Network said they were shocked to find their name in the list and have emailed the Registrar for the error made.
Chair and Founder Kaajal Kumar said she was informed that their financial report was due on 31st December, 2022 and not 2021 as they had just recently opened their bank account on 11th March, 2021.

She hopes that the issue is sorted with the Registrar.
Other sporting trusts that were reflected in the list have clarified that they are now operating under a different name.
Queries sent to the Registrar of Titles on Sunday remained unanswered.
