An unfortunate accident claimed the life of a 1-year-old child yesterday.
Police says the child was with his mother outside their Davuilevu Housing home, when an old coconut tree fell on him.
The child was rushed to the Nakasi Health Center where he was unfortunately pronounced dead on arrival.
