“It is good to see the support of the parents at the kindergarten level. This is not a simple project, but I know all parents know the excitement the children get when we have this installed. We will not regret using the money on this and I must thank the parents and the management for it.
The new project costs $13,800 with parents contributing to the amount and the management completing the top up.
He added with the beautiful colours on this project, students should love it.
“Right now there are about 100 children but during school hours only 35 children can play at one time. There is more space for everyone to enjoy,” said Mr Vateitei.
Meanwhile, the kindergarten students with their parents and teacher took time out to complete their WalkaThon from Martintar to Wailoaloa Beach on Friday where the students enjoyed various games and had a hearty lunch in school.
The Namaka Public School was established in 1962 and the kindergarten in 2005. In 2016 there were 115 students who graduated and in 2017 there were 69 graduates.
