Children’s Heart Hospital Goes Regional

The Sri Sathya Sai Sanjeevani Children’s Hospital has wel­comed its first patient from South Pacific Islands to undergo surgery at the hospital.

The Sri Sathya Sai Sanjeevani Children’s Hospital has wel­comed its first patient from South Pacific Islands to undergo surgery at the hospital.

Nine Solomon Islands and four Kiribati children were part of the 25 children who underwent sur­gery last week.

This was highlighted by the Sai Sanjeevani Children’s Heart Hospi­tal Fiji director Dr Krupali Tappoo during the inaugural Paediatric Cardiac Conference in Suva yester­day.

Dr Tappoo added that the confer­ence was a groundbreaking mo­ment for paediatric cardiac care in Fiji and the Pacific.
