Chinese Community Donate Food Packs

The Chinese Community in Fiji has donated 200 buckets of biscuit (2kg), 30 packets of tea bags, 30kg sugar and 100 face shields to the Republic Fiji Military Forces (RFMF) on Monday.
The Chinese community also assisted the Fiji Police Force and Ministry of Health last week.
Chinese Association of Fiji President Jenny Seeto thanked the military officers for the sacrifices they are doing.

“The Chinese community recongnises the very valuable work done by frontline workers in keeping the country safe,” Ms Seeto said.
“We hope that this little token of ours will sustain them through the hard work through the days and the nights when they are out there.”
RFMF representative Captain Eroni Duaibe thanked the Chinese community for their continuous support.
“We thank them for the timely assistance they are giving RFMF. COVID itself is taking its toll on a lot of things in terms of ration supply, face masks and other personal protective gears,” Captain Duaibe said.
“With this assistance, we are able to continue with our tasks and be of assistance to the Ministry of Health and the general public as a whole.”
