Chinese Embassy donates $40K to Inspire Pacific

The Chinese government through its embassy has donated $40,000 to support the work of Inspire Pacific.
Inspire Pacific is a Non-Government Organisation (NGO) committed to transforming the lives of at-risk children.
Chinese Ambassador Zhou Jian presented the $40,000 grant to Ben Morrison, co-founder of Inspire Pacific.

“In recent years, the Ministry of Women, Children, and Social Protection, under the new Coalition Government, has made significant contributions in the areas of women’s rights, care and protection of children, and improving the livelihoods of the vulnerable,” Mr Zhou said.
“The Embassy is honoured to support the ministry’s Child Rehabilitation and wellbeing programme to advance the livelihoods of Fiji’s citizens.”
Ms Tabuya thanked the Chinese Ambassador for their generosity and commitment to positively impacting the lives of young individuals in need.
“The donation will make a significant difference by providing resources and support for the rehabilitation programmes that Inspire Pacific has implemented for at-risk children.”
Ms Tabuya commended Inspire Pacific for their dedication in creating safe and nurturing environment for Fiji’s young children in need of rehabilitation and integration support. Mr Morrison thanked Mr Zhou for their support and acknowledged Ms Tabuya for her assistance in their efforts.
