Suspended Director of Public Prosecution Christopher Pryde may challenge his suspension in court if he feels he has been unfairly removed, says Minister for Home Affairs Pio Tikoduadua.

Mr Pryde had told the Fiji Sun that he would challenge his suspension.

On April 13, President Ratu Wiliame Katonivere had written to Mr Pryde advising him of his suspension and that a Tribunal will be appointed to investigate allegations of misbehaviour.

Ratu Wiliame says the convening of a tribunal was in keeping with Chapter 5, Part A, Section 112 (3) of the Constitution of the Republic of Fiji.
