In their happier days... From left: Rehan with Mum Roselyn Devi and dad Saheed Hussein
The live electrical wire that allegedly electrocuted Rehan Hussein last Thursday in Nakasi was a domestic one and not a Fiji Electricity Authority line.
It was also unfortunate that Rehan’s father Saheed Hussein had said that Rehan had touched a high voltage wire, which seemed to suggest that it was an FEA line.
The term high voltage is normally associated with FEA lines.

In this case, a domestic line had allegedly shocked Rehan, leading to his death.
We hope this clarification will clear any misunderstanding and we apologise to FEA for any inconvenience caused.
