Commander Francis Kean Resigns As Corrections Commissioner
The Constitutional Offices Commission (COC) confirmed the chairperson, Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka would inform the President, Ratu Wiliame Katonivere about Commander Kean’s resignation.

Suspended Commissioner of the Fiji Corrections Service (FCS), Commander Francis Kean, has resigned.
The Constitutional Offices Commission (COC) confirmed the chairperson, Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka would inform the President, Ratu Wiliame Katonivere about Commander Kean’s resignation.
Commander Kean assumed the role on March 4, 2016.
Related stories
He was suspended with full pay on January 27 while awaiting a tribunal, along with the Commissioner of Police, Brigadier-General Sitiveni Qiliho.
He was a subject of various allegations on social media.
Commander Kean had also served as a Commander of the Republic of Fiji Navy.
Salote Panapasa currently acts as FCS Commissioner.
