Company Growth Motivates Chandra

Seeing the company grow over the years has been a motiva­tional factor for one of Swire Shipping Pte Limit­ed long time serving staff Preeya Chandra.

Mrs Chandra is the ac­counts receivable finance and has been working for the company for the past 12 years.

She started with Pacific Agencies before transi­tioning into her current role where she has seen major changes in the com­pany.

“I have seen is technologi­cal changes and change in working environment with a respectful workplac,” she said.

“Today I am very proud to be a part of the Swire fam­ily is it gives great staff benefit, cares about staff welfare, gives a respectful work place where we feel comfortable in our work­ing environment.

“Swire is getting glo­balized and is so well known in supporting our Fijiana Drua team which makes me prouder.”

She said having a respect­ful workplace has helped her throughout her years at Swire Shipping Pte Lim­ited.

She adds a respectful workplace ties in with the company’s values of integ­rity, humility, teamwork, continuity, endeavour and excellence.

Serving customers and saving customers time has been Mrs Chandra’s motto in her q2 years of service at Swire Shipping Pte Lim­ited.

She finds motivation to work everyday in meet­ing deadlines, targets, and goals to help reach Swire’s objectives.

“Mentoring and coach­ing amongst my peers and learning new things and coming up with creative ideas to improve some­thing or make something new or implement some­thing.”

As Swire Shipping Pte Ltd celebrates 150 years this year, Mrs Chandra says she is proud to be part of a company that values its staff.

“Congratulations Swire Shipping on your 150th an­niversary.

“We know you have worked hard for this ac­complishment, and we truly appreciate your dedi­cation.

“Thank you for staying with us during the difficult and happy times. Wish­ing more anniversaries ahead.”
