Families of inmates at the Fiji Corrections Service gave meaning to their loved ones when they came in droves to celebrate the Christmas lunch with them.
The event is organised annually to allow inmates to re-connect with family members in the spirit of the festive season.
Deputy Commissioner of Corrections Senior Superintendent Apakuki Qura said: “Christmas is a time for family so for us we reward those who have stayed in line whole year and abided by the rules and regulations of their incarceration by giving them such privileges, to sit and enjoy a meal with their loved ones before Christmas.”
