Nadi Town Council (NTC) acting chief executive officer Muni Reddy, has responded to concerns why bougainvillea plants are planted as lane dividers on the Queens Highway from Nadi International Airport, Namaka to Martintar.

Concerns have been raised by some residents who claimed road accidents had happened along the stretch of the highway because of the plants.

They claimed motorists could not see oncoming vehicles on opposite lanes because of the plants.
