Counselors Note High Number Of Mental Health Referrals

A recently-opened counseling organization in Lautoka has received a number of mental health referrals from communities.

The all-women’s counseling organization, Mending Minds Foundation (MMF) which was launched in September last year specializes in providing Mental Health and Psychosocial Support Services inclusive of specialized services.

There are a total of four women.

MMF’s founder and executive director, Prem Singh said the operations had been active in communities especially in the rural areas.
